I went in on my lunch break to grab something quick to eat. I never expected such a variety of items on their menu! They have wraps on whole wheat, massive sandwiches on ciabatta buns which are under 10$ with a side! Never have I found such a nice place with great service. I had my wrap (seriously vegetarian) within 15 minutes. Was served nice and warm! Great choices for healthy lunches which are filling, and also treats for those who have a sweet tooth! Definitely recommend their cupcakes to anybody who loves sweets. Best shop in Peterborough! Read more

My husband found this place while working. We drive from Warkworth to JPs! (an hour) just for lunch! he makes everything himself from the fresh cut fries to the chicken and beef and pork. His spices and sauces are delicious and authentic. My husband LOVES the pulled pork poutine, while I enjoy the classic chicken pita with his homemade traditional tzatziki sauce. Can't beat it! Having been very disappointed at the lack of good Chinese food in the Durham area, I was extremely pleased to find Wok - In Express in Brooklin. Yes there are a lots of Chinese restaurants in Durham but not good ones! At Wok - In Express, not only is the food they serve fresh and tasty but it is very reasonably priced considering what you get. They use very fresh ingredients and are consistent time after time. The oil they use for the fried items is fresh and the difference can be immediately tasted. Food is not greasy in the least. Try the General Taos chicken, it is addictive. The restaurant is very well located with lots of parking and it is clean. This makes a big difference for me because if you take pride in how your restaurant looks, you will take pride in the product you are serving. Read more

Dropped in for lunch this week and was very pleasantly surprised to find this calibre of Japanese food in Peterborough. Excellent food. Very authentic. So much so it helps to be familiar with Japanese food before ordering (staff speak very little English). Fixed price for as much as you want on the menu. However a note on menu says you will be charged for what you don't eat. I thought that was an inspired way to prevent the waste usually associated with all you can eat restaurants. A little pricy but you certainly get your money's worth. Looking forward to a return visit for dinner. Read more
